Ryanair free and discounted flights- book by November 8th
Posted November 9th, 2007 by Karen BradburyIf you are planning a trip on Ryanair before the end of January 2008, today might not be a bad day at all to book it. In addition to the discounted fares, there are 500,000 free flights available on selected routes. These special rates include no taxes, fees or charges. From Frankfurt-Hahn, those include flights to Palma de Mallorca, Bologna, Italy and Pisa, Italy. From London Stansted, your options include Brussels, Newquay, Glasgow, Shannon, Knock and Belfast. So why not? It doesn't get any cheaper than free!

Other flights
I just returned from a trip to Madrid. We flew round trip on Iberia from Frankfurt. Iberia charged passengers for everything served on the plane. The crew referred passengers to a menu with prices -- 1.50 euros for water, 2.50 for a 33cl coke, 3 euros for beer, and anywhere from 4 to 10 euros for a plastic-wrapped sandwich (no one bought any of these). We do not fly within Europe often, so I'm wondering if this typical of other airlines making intra-Europe flights. I understand Iberia has some financial problems and could be merging soon with another European airlines, so am curious if this is just its policy, or a trend. Anyone know?
Beware
Ensure you have approved leave, and that you can REALLY
fly on a particular day, because Ryanair does NOT offer
refunds.
I booked a trip for my family to Ireland, our favorite vacation destination.
We were supposed to leave at the end of July. Instead, the
Army gave me an all-expenses paid trip to Babylon.
Needless to say, I attempted to get a refund - no luck. Ryanair will
CONSIDER offering a refund for the death of the principle individual(s)
involved in the booking, or an immediate family member.
If you cannot make a flight on a particular date, you CAN change your
date, at a cost.
Buyer be aware...
