Far east Body building contest 2009

Why was there not any stories about the winnners of the this year's contest. These competitor work their butts off for 6 months to a year and you reported about a person the will have very little to do with the community and fitness promotion in the next few days. You reoprt was direspectful to the community's health promotion professionals and I would like to hear your reasons and understand instead of being upset.

Giving credit to the right people

Dave thanks for the quick response to my blog, however the issue of credit should have been the main story not that of a traveling guess poser. I agree that Jamie's story should have been told but not as our headline story. All of the competitors worked hard along their peers, friends and family. Their dedication to their training, nutrition, practice routines, posing and rest or recovery require precision and accuracy. I strongly believe that competing in such a contest takes a lot of work and the credit should be given to those who competed not those who are invited as a guess and who does not have to stand if front of a panel of judges to be compared with others to determine who did the best job in preparing for a competition.

I am sure that Tiger Woods would have been the cover story after winner a tournament complete with photos and personal qutoes from being interveiwed, even though Arnold Palmer was invited to be the guess speaker or to hit the first ball at the first hole.

I know what it’s like

I know what it’s like being a mother and trying to be a body builder at the same time. I recently began taking steroids to give me a boost, I simply don’t get enough hours on the weights so when I do manage to find time for it I really need it.
