In the photograph, note the player at the bottom left, holding up the banner. That's Avianca Manning, formerly of Seoul American, now part of a Florida A&M volleyball team that won its eighth straight Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship.

Pacific star makes good! Falcons Nation, take a bow! And congratulations to Avi!

To those in the Pacific harbouring similar dreams: You can achieve them! Avi Manning is proof positive of that.

YEAH!

I know I've already told you this, but CONGRATS! you should have seen me before the game when I went to those first games of yours in the pre season tournament, i was telling my roommates that i had a friend who played on the other team, and they didnt believe me at first! it was awesome to see you reach your goals of playing in college, and i can' wait until you come back down for the post season tournament so i can see how much you've grown! ~~until december!

Angye?

:) Hey !!

Man, to this day, I am SO ENVIOUS that you're at my DREAM college. Our parents would die if both of us were at "The Swamp" You don't understand how happy I was when we drove on the UF campus! My team was like "Avi, if you want to play for UF you can, but you're a rattler, you can't do the gator chomp." Hahaha. They just don't understand that I've been "Orange and Blue" for the longest!

Anyways, thanks SO much for the congrats. Everyday when I drive on campus, I'm still like "What in the world...I go here, I play here?" It's crazy, but I love it.

I can't wait to see you either! I'm not sure if the NCAA Tourney is in GAINSVILLE anymore though! Let's hope for the BEST?

Way to represent Avi!

Congratulations on your achievement with your collegiate volleyball team! I'm very proud of you and wish you the best of luck in your upcoming tournament! Happy Holidays to you and your family!!!
