Far East Teams status
Dave,
What does the Class A Far East field look like? How is St Paul doing? Who are Hokaido? Can you give us a small window of info on the Teams going to Misawa?
Seoul Overrated
It kills me that seoul stays getting attention about their boys b-ball team. Yea they are the defending far-east champs but that was last year. Why cant yokota team get an article about their team. They are undefeated arent they and they already beat seoul...and yea willie brown and radion fails wasnt in the lineup but u have to overcome those obstacles and still be a team without your star players. Not to take anything away from them yes they have a decent team but their not the best. Yokota should get the recognition they deserve
Seoul Overated?
I never thought those two words would ever be in the same sentence. The article was about the mens and the womens programs going for a sweep. Whats wrong with that? Both have a great teams and have had great teams for a while, I know all my four years at SAHS, I always thought we would get the sweep, but one of us would always fall short in the big game. Seoul gets the attention because they do things to get it. They have a great record under coach Boyd, and a lot of championships to go with that record. Like Dave said, SAHS has won 3 out of the last 5 Far East championships, 7 KAIAC championships, and not to mention the back to back HKIS Thanksgiving championships, and we even win tournaments against the GI level.
Yokota gets a lot of attention when it comes to football and why do you think that is? its because of all the JFL titles you guys have.
Yokota is a good team, they must be good to be 21-0, and yeah you guys already beat Seoul, and so I guess yall are the best right now, But try beating Seoul when they have Willie and Raidion in the lineup which they will be in Far East.
You guys want the attention you deserve, then either beat Seoul in Far East or Win the tournament, but untill then the Falcons are the Champs.
Yokota is going to win the
Yokota is going to win the tournament hands down.
Robert D Edgren girls basketball
Just was curious why the Edgren girls basketball has not been ranked all year in your polls? They are 12-3 losing to yokota, kinnick and Zama one time. They have beat kinnick and Zama once too...they have an amazing point guard that transferred here this year in junior Ashley Hawkins and some good players around her...Maybe they have not been very successful in the past but I think they are one team to watch out for in the future!!
