Not so sure about Goach, but sports_fanatic, you'll be up there one of these days. You'll make it for both wrestling and soccer. good luck with the rest of the season.

thanks for the word of confidence coach go, hopefully i can make it, still got another year to prove myself.. and i'm sure from all i've heard (dustin, former yokota players) you should be up there
No Jokes
To be serious for a moment, Goach was a heck of an athlete. Not only physically but he was a fierce competitor and really knew the game, same for wrestling. In a few more years, he'll definitely be a master coach. But for now he's an understudy.
who is this coach go or goach?
goach???? coach go??? who is this person you speak of?

The Goach is this little man who lives by the waters around Yokosuka Naval Base. Kind of like a troll.

Dream Team
So, I saw my name and its an honor to know that someone out there mentioned me. Our school wasnt a powerhouse back in my day, and I have no clue how they are doing right now, but its a difficult task to try and pick 11 of the best.
We should have had a Kanto Plain All Star Team VS Okinawa All Star Team.
Its crazy that after graduating highschool, there are names on this blog that I can remember from my time being disputed over years later.
I am sure that no one from my school remembers who I am or what I have achieved, because soccer doesnt run thick in our school. Ever since my generation of Japanese people graduated from my school, I have lost touch of how my school is doing.
And yea, Ornauer, I, of course remember you. You put me on the newspaper many times and I thank you for that.
Looking down the list, there really isnt much International School kids mentioned.
I always thought that Mikio Kobayashi and Andy (forgot his last name, but he went to Princeton) were great players from ASIJ.
Dave Millard, the two brothers from CAJ...
Base schools(Kanto)...I will always remember:
Clyde Soumas and Mike Chamberlain from Yokota;
Manny, Go Yamada, George Murray from Yokosuka;
Joel Chambers from Misawa;
James Dones from Sasebo;
I left my own school out just for bias reasons, but I know we had a good group of guys who were passionate about the game that deserve mentioning.
Dave-you should do a list of best 11 for all schools. More work for you; not that you need it.
Crazy!!!
Kadena 5 Kubasaki 2.....Not the score. Names on the list who earned cards! See Code of Conduct comments....Can anyone guess who earned the most cards from me? Granted, sometimes passion earns you a card, and this player was PASSIONATE!!!!
