Geiger to Represent USA on Junior World Team

Minnesota’s Ryland Geiger (Scappoose, Ore./Scappoose) won his weight class at the final round of the 2009 FILA Junior World Team Trials in freestyle wrestling at the U.S. Olympic Training Center this past weekend. Geiger won the 96kg/211.5 pound weight class, defeating Iowa’s Brodie Ambrose 7-2 and 2-1 in the first match, and 3-0, 3-1 in the final match. Champions from the FILA Junior World Team Trials have earned the right to represent the USA at the FILA Junior World Championship in Ankara, Turkey this August.
FILA Junior athletes are 17-20 years old, a group that includes many of the nation’s top college underclassmen and the most talented high school athletes.

Geiger was a freshman for the Golden Gopher wrestling team in 2008-09. During his rookie season, he compiled a 19-3 record at 197 pounds.

i say everyone should vote for sarah...cause you know she has worked the hardest!!!!

Gwen

I don't see why Gwen doesnt deserve this. Although Gwen did give Sarah Wilson the Petty Record, Gwen already had a Kanto Record from the year before that was more then a second faster then that. And then at Kanto Invitational when Sarah came up to Tokyo, Gwen dominated the race, crushing her own personal best and creating a new pacific record(Shes had the 400 league record since sophomore year). On top of that, she was the main part of her 4x4 team that beat the league record (which was already theirs). She also beat her own league record in the 310 hurdles (which shes had since sophomore year). Oh, and she also has the 100hurdles record. She's the definitely one of the best, if not the best track athlete ever in a Kanto.

Sarah Wilson: a true champion

Watching Sarah compete motivates me to finish strong. Thank you Sarah for all those who share your warrior spirit. You represent us well.
Sairwaa

Sarah Willson: Heart!!!

Sarah really has a lot of heart for what she does. She gives everything and motivates alot of other peaple in the process. With her determination and her go get it attitude I feel that she should be nominated for this award. She deserves it. Great job Sarah!

Sarah Wilson

How do you spell heart? S-A-R-A-H-W-I-L-S-O-N Who knew the dictionary had it wrong all this time?

good job sarah. your family

good job sarah. your family is so proud of you.

How about a defender? Ya

How about a defender? Ya know the one that works like a horse and shuts down the goal seekers! Kubasaki's defence was second to NONE. Bligh sister's denied all week. Not only did Sydnie Bligh defend but she had assists and scored as a BIG DEFENDER!!She is a clean player with a great attitude! Three varsity letterman as a freshman. I vote for Sydnie Bligh
