This is one of the best insights I've read about how difficult reporting events and passing along the reporting of events, can be. So many people think everything is black or white but it isn't. Sometimes you have to look beyond the headlines and sometimes, even though someone you trust tells you an article or picture is inaccurate, it may not be so simple.
I know many people accuse journalists of purposely distorting the truth. Perhaps some do and being cognizant is the first defense. But sometimes it's just really hard to determine what the truth is.
